Materials: Photographic and digital visualisation for porcelain cast in clear resin
Dimensions: When made these would be the size of full sized shopping carrier bags.
Description:
Commissioned Public art proposal for Clarks Village. Porcelain shopping purchases inside 12 clear resin life sized carrier bags. Each bag would encourage thoughts about the items’ futures and reflection about the person that bought them. The viewer will be able to get an insight into what kind of person owns that shopping bag. People will be able to question why that person has bought those items, what does it say about their character, social situation, age. Also raising questions about their own collection habits.
